Monumentals in the paddock of Embraceart Studio, April 2009

Before the sculptures find their new homes, they have time to “mature” in the peaceful landscape of Embraceart Studio. The wind and weather ... and our pet sheep, enhance the scale and silence of the artworks. This is a generous environment for viewing the pieces outside, where they belong, beyond the “white cube” of a gallery space.

An old orchard near the house, is home for the more feminine pieces. Here, the sculptural seats invite rest and contemplation.

Water sculptures in various sizes are displayed closer to the house, providing the continuous joy of their lively sound.

Inside our home, Padma’s art is on view to welcome visitors. To me, there is nothing better than coming inside from the wind swept paddock for a good cuppa. Visitors are free to stroll through our space to view her inspired creations.
